Ed Wallace Slanders Traumatic Brain Injury Victim Darrell Ankarlo

When conservative radio host Darrell Ankarlo left Dallas (KLIF) in 2006 for Phoenix (KTAR), Ed Wallace tossed various insults at Darrell Ankarlo on his Saturday show after Ankarlo’s departure from the Dallas market. This Ed Wallace is a “classy" guy.
It is now 2021 and Wallace again makes snarky comments. Never mind that a 2012 car accident resulted in Darrell Ankarlo suffering a traumatic brain injury, which forced Ankarlo to leave his radio career. A decade later, this Ed Wallace remains a “classy" guy.
During the July 31, 2021 Wheels with Ed Wallace broadcast, Wallace states
that ♫ Darrell Ankarlo does not know
the preamble to the Constitution of the United States. This false claim is refuted by that fact
that Ankarlo was a minor through to the year 1977 and there were ubiquitous Schoolhouse Rock!
television shorts broadcasted throughout the 1970s (1973 forward). One of the most famous of these is the 1975 short titled
The Preamble, which taught the contents of the preamble of the Constitution of
the United States. So, not only did
Ankarlo grow up learning the preamble, the repetition would have allowed him to
sing it from memory in 2006.
Of course, it is likely that Ankarlo would prefer to defend himself from Wallace’s slander, but Ankarlo has stepped away from the public forum due to a traumatic brain injury. In his stead, let Schoolhouse Rock! set the record straight:
