Three months have passed since David El Attrache and John Ingram became the hosts-in-name-only of Wheels with Ed Wallace. As such, it seems a good time to take a measure of the partisan balance of the show opening.
In the previous partisan snark analysis (May 1, 2022 to September 3, 2022), Ed Wallace’s show opening was exposed as a nakedly partisan exercise that derided Republicans 92% of the time over those four months.
Given that heavy tilt against conservatives, one might wonder whether these new hosts had a moderating effect. Well, the following table shows all the partisan snark targets within the show’s opening for what is now announce as “Wheels with David El Attrache and John Ingram”. Omitted from the table are apolitical musings, faux self-deprecating asides, and snark targeting those without a conspicuous political association (Southwest Airlines, Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes).

Over the past three months, the show opening threw derision at 12 partisan targets: eleven individuals and one economic theory. And of those 12 partisan targets, all twelve were of the Republican / Conservative ideology.
Somehow, in the three months that
includes Joe
Biden asserting that a Chevrolet Corvette grants SCIF-level
security to adjacent top-secret government documents, not a single barb was
hurled toward Wallace’s fellow Democrats during the show’s opening.
Ed Wallace’s ever shrinking covey
of sponsors fund his Mother Jones
Magazine of the radio. Do not purchase anything from these financers of
socialist propaganda. This goes double for Norm Reeves Honda of North Richland
Hills, as its General Manager David El Attrache serves as a Wheels co-host.
